Day 1 - 29.7.06
Arrived at Bali - 2 hours late.
Komang our Driver had an 8 seater bus for us. 50,000RP Excellent person.
We booked into Flora Beach Hotel Kuta. $25 AUD per night. YUK motel.
I changed $100AUD to RP Rate 6850.
We had dinner at Jessen's Bar & Restaurant in Bakungsari JL Kuta.
Seafood Stir fry & rice. 35,000RP, Banana Milkshake 10,000RP, Crab & Corn soup 13,000RP.
My baby Bobby 21mths old was very tired after the trip so we had an early night.

Day 2 - 30.7.06
This morning we transferred to the Bakungsari Hotel.
Standard room rate 225,000RP per night.
My Room 211. It has a bath for the baby.
Superior room rate 250,000RP per night.
My kids Room 216. Overlooking the pool. Shower only.
We ventured down to Kuta markets.
I bought Body & Soul Shorts & Top 50,000RP
Some Billabong Shorts 25,000RP
DVD Leather case 50,000RP & 13 DVD's.
Early night with Baby Bobby.

Day 3 - 31.7.06
Today we went shopping at Malasti Markets at Legion.
Firstly I had to change some Aussie dollar into RP.
Changed $100AUD. Rate 6875.
I bought some swimmers for my daughter for 20,000RP. 3 billabong tops 65,000RP.
3 baby Billabong T-shirts for 60,000RP.
4 Baby Billabong Shorts for 100,000RP.
We had dinner at Indo-National tonight.
Aussie run and owned.
170,000RP for 4 of us plus desert.
Loveliest Restaurant I have been to in Bali.
Our Taxi from Kuta to Legion was 13,000RP.

Day 4 - 1.8.06
Today I changed $100AUD @ 6900RP.
More shopping today.
Men's Billabong shorts 40,000RP
Smoke case with lighter 40,000RP
26 Thomas the tank DVD's 200,000RP
Windows 2000 software 25,000RP
We ventured down to Mc Shop to get our Aussie PS2 Chipped.
600,000RP and takes 2 days.
He will drop it off to your motel room when it is finished.
We had dinner at this restaurant with yummy food but I forgot to get the name of it.
I had an early night with the baby.
Hubby went to The Bounty with my son and daughter.
They never have any trouble here.
But tonight a Javanese guy came from nowhere and King hit my hubby in the eye.
The bounces through my hubby out and the Javanese guy was aloud to stay.
So Aussie guys BEWARE.

Day 5 - 2.8.06
Today we went to Bali Galleria.
We got stuck in the toy shop with the kids.
They would not leave till we bought them something.
Bobby got Thomas the Tank engine and Sally got New twins Bratz Dolls.
We went back to the motel and had lunch there.
We swam in the pool all afternoon.
Went to Queen Tandor for dinner.
If you don't like hot food like me, I would not recommend this place.
HOT HOT HOT. Italian Food.
I didn't like it.
Our taxi from Kuta to Seminyak 21,000RP
Petrol prices have gone up to 4500 per litre.

Day 6 - 3.8.06
Today I changed $100AUD @ 6900
I bought more shopping.
A baby girls tutu 25,000RP.
We had dinner at Stadium Cafe.
I enjoyed having dinner here.
We sat out the back on the veranda.
Next door was a small park the kids played on while I ate in peace.

Day 7 - 4.8.06
Today is my daughter Sally's 10th Birthday
Her father is taking her to the waterbomb park.
That is the only place she wants to go for her birthday.
She gets to go every year.
Changed another $100Aud @ 6900
Today I bought some leather thongs for 30,000RP.
Some Gucci Sunglasses for 25,000RP.
Sally got a special birthday cake from Bakungsari Hotel.
We took her to Bubba Gumps for her birthday dinner.
They march out banging pots and pans, singing Happy Birthday to her.
It was a real fun night and she loved it.
Her father took her to The Bounty for the foam party.
She had a fantastic time there but she didn't want to come home at 12 o'clock.
Lots of people start getting there after that time
and it is not safe for young children to be around drunks.

Day 8 - 5.8.06
We had a quiet day at the motel today.
We just watched some DVD's and layed around the pool.
We all had an early night.

Day 9 - 6.8.06
We went shopping along Poppies Lane 2.
OMG did we shop till we dropped.

Day 10 - 7.8.05
Well today is my 41st birthday and my sons 25th birthday.
I cant believe my son is 25.
Where has all the years gone.
My mum minded my Baby Bobby.
I went and had my hair done at Lucy's.
Lucy's is outside of Bakungsari Hotel Office.
I had a head full of foils done for 75,000RP.
We then went for dinner at Glory's.
I love this restaurant.
Fisherman's Basket 60,000RP.
Once again Bakungsari Hotel supplied us with Birthday Cakes.
We had the cakes all Glory restaurant.
One of the Balinese workers there also had his birthday on the 7th August.
So we all blew the candles out on the cake and we all shared the cake.
A lovely night to remember.

Day 11 - 8.8.06
We had a quiet day today.
A little time at the pool.
My 21 mth old baby boy Bobby slept allot today.
It is all catching up on him.
I had to have dinner in the motel room because the baby was still asleep.

Day 12 - 9.8.06
Today we went to Supa Nova.
We got some great specials.
A lovely bra 29,000RP.
Sally got some high heel shoes for 30,000RP.
We had dinner at TJ's Mexican Restaurant.
Last year is was great but this year, I would not recommend it again.
They also charged us 10% Government tax and 5% service tax.
I was shocked. Never again.

Day 13 - 10.8.06
Today I had to get money off my Wizard visa card from an ATM.
I got 300,000,000 (3 million).
We used the ATM machine across the road from The Bounty.
And next to the Bank.
It is from Commonwealth Bank customers.
Tonight we ate at Bali Aget.

Day 14 - 11.8.06
I woke up at 6am to pouring down rain. It lasted to 8am.
This morning I watched the News on TV.
I just found out about the terrorist plot to blow up 4 planes in England.
24 people have been arrested.
London and USA Airports have shut down services until further notice.
Michell and her family went home today at 1pm.
I popped over to the internet cafe today for the first time this holiday.
5000RP for 1 hour and the internet was as slow as a wet week.

Day 15 - 12.8.06
We woke this morning to pouring down rain again.
It lasted till 9am today.
Flooded everywhere.
I bought some Levi Jeans today.
Levi Jeans recommended price 75,000RP but I couldn't get them for under 100,000RP.
I also bought Mc Afee anti virus 2006 for 20,000RP.

Day 16 - 13.8.06
Today we go home and I am not looking forward to that.
Our last minute Shop Till We Drop.
Komang our Driver did not turn up to take us to the airport.
He had wrote down the wrong night for us.
When I rang him, he was on the other side of Bali and could not do it.
I said Sing Ken Ken - No Worries Mate. See you next trip.
We got our other driver but we was so squashed in his 4 wheel drive.
But we got to the airport on time and the trip home went well.
